The Associate Marketing Manager will focus on building relationships, engagement, and brand awareness within the hockey communities. You will be responsible for developing and executing community-led marketing initiatives that strengthen the connection between The Long Drink and these passionate sports cultures. This is a highly collaborative and hands-on role for someone who loves sports and has a knack for creating buzz-worthy experiences.
Salary: $75,000-85,000, pending experience

Development and Execution of Sports Community Strategy: Assist in the strategy to build, engage, and grow The Long Drink’s presence within the hockey community by developing creative, engaging, and authentic marketing programs.
Collaborate with Partners and Influencers: Partner with athletes, sports influencers, local teams,hockey rinks, and sports leagues to promote The Long Drink authentically in the hockey space.
Event Activations & Sponsorships: Lead the planning and execution of branded events, sponsorships, and activations at hockey games and other community events. Be responsible for creating memorable, buzz-worthy experiences at sports venues, tournaments, and community gatherings.
Brand Ambassadorship: Develop a network of brand ambassadors, including hockey players and influencers who will represent and promote The Long Drink within their communities, both online and in person.
Content Creation & Engagement: Work closely with the social media and content teams to create engaging social content that resonates with hockey enthusiasts. Capture the culture of these sports and translate it into shareable, community-driven content.
Manage Local Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with local sports organizations and hockey rinks to expand The Long Drink’s reach. Identify partnership opportunities that align with our brand values.
Measure Success & ROI: Track the performance of campaigns and community initiatives through data analysis, social engagement, and event attendance, providing insights to optimize future efforts. Ensure that all community programs drive measurable growth in brand awareness and sales.
Stay Authentic to the Brand: Ensure all initiatives feel true to The Long Drink’s brand voice, embodying the spirit of fun, refreshment, and disruption that our beverage is known for.
3-5 years of relevant experience in sports marketing, event marketing, or community management, with a passion for hockey.
Deep understanding of the hockey culture, with an ability to speak the language of these communities authentically.
Experience managing partnerships with athletes, influencers, or local sports organizations.
Proven ability to create and execute grassroots marketing programs that drive engagement and foster community.
Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple initiatives at once.
Experience with event marketing, from ideation to execution, including on-site activations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively represent the brand across multiple channels.
A passion for The Long Drink’s mission to challenge the norms of refreshment and bring people together.
Ability to travel as needed to attend hockey events, tournaments, or activations.
